Halong Bay is one the iconic natural beauties of Vietnam and unsurprisingly one of the most popular destinations in the whole of the country. The crystal blue waters scattered with limestone peaks make for a vision that epitomises the wonder of Vietnam. The name translates as ‘Descending Dragon Bay’ because of the local legend of a family of dragons who descended to protect the bay from foreign invaders. This mystical origin is certainly fit for the otherworldly landscape. Set in the Bay of Tonkin, this stunning coastal area became a UNESCO World Heritage sight in 1994. It is clear to see why this unique landscape consists of clear waters with thousands of islands that seem to rise up majestically out of the ocean with thick carpets of forest covering their peaks. Northeast of Halong Bay sits Bai Tu Bay and to the south is Lan Ha Ba and Cat Ba Island, all of equal beauty and sharing a similar geological makeup.

Full itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon our arrival at Noi Bai International airport, we are welcomed and picked up by our driver then we transfer to our hotel in the city center. Check-in and free for relaxing.
17h00 start doing 03 hour street food tour by walking included eating 6 to 8 different street foods at local street food vendors

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel
8h30 AM We transfer to Bai Chay Wharf for our 4-hour boat trip to discover Halong Bay – one of World Natural Wonders in Vietnam. During the time we will have the opportunity to get off the boat to get lost in the spectacular Heaven Palace (Thien Cung) and Dau Go caves. Those caves crammed with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in different colors, shapes and sizes definitely will stir our imagination.
We keep cruising to see many limestone islands and islets which dotted around the bay including Incense Bowl islet, Cock Fighting islet, Sail islet, Turtle Island… Seafood lunch will be served on boat.
Then we go back to Hanoi. Free time for enjoy dinner and overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi Half-day City Tour Departure ( B)
In the morning, we will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, his former stilt-house, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. We head to the Temple of Literature – the very first university of Vietnam and admire Khue Van Pavilion – the symbolic structure of Hanoi. Finish your trip in Hanoi or transfer to airport for flying back Home
